Ashok is a Cityworks administrator and asset management systems architect with more than twenty five years of experience delivering GIS and CMMS solutions for public works, utilities, stormwater, water, sewer, and city wide operations. He has led configuration, administration, and optimization of Cityworks AMS for large municipal environments, including service request, work order, inspection, labor, equipment, and Storeroom modules that support day to day field and office operations.
At the City of Miami Beach he helped develop and implement an asset management plan based on APWA style guidance that supported the Public Works Department in earning APWA accreditation in 2023. He combines deep technical skills in Cityworks, ArcGIS Enterprise, SQL Server, and Crystal Reports with a Lean Six Sigma mindset that focuses on removing waste, standardizing workflows, and turning work order and asset data into reliable information for planning, budgeting, and performance management.
Ashok is experienced working across departments, from utilities and stormwater to facilities and public safety, to design data structures, dashboards, and reports that match how crews and supervisors actually work. He is equally comfortable configuring complex Cityworks environments, building reports and ETL processes, and training end users and super users so that asset management practices are sustainable long term.
Shantanu is Information Systems student at the University of Florida (Innovation minor, graduating Dec 2025) who turns messy, multi‑source data into clear insights and better user experiences. I’ve optimized product and supplier data at an e‑commerce firm, analyzed WordPress traffic to drive a 15% lift in organic search, and built reporting that helped leaders move faster; in the community, I used ArcGIS and field surveying with city partners to reduce downtown Gainesville litter by 10%. I’ve supported 30+ research projects, strengthened knowledge systems via disciplined tagging, and led a 12+ member student organization (raised a $1,000+ budget, grew membership 15%) while helping secure a $17,000 grant for Meals‑on‑Wheels.
Technical strengths: Excel (advanced, including VLOOKUP), Python for data analysis, spatial data analysis (ArcGIS Online), database management; CompTIA A+ certified. I enjoy collaborating with suppliers, city officials, researchers, and nonprofit leaders to connect data, systems, and stakeholder needs into measurable outcomes.
